TONIGHT THE ANTHEM AWARDS CELEBRATES ITS INAUGURAL CEREMONY, A VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE HONORING THE BEST OF THE SOCIAL IMPACT COMMUNITY

NEW YORK, February 28, 2022 – Today, The Anthem Awards hosts its Inaugural Awards ceremony, brought to you by The Webby Awards, honoring social impact leaders and activists from around the world hosted by star of HBO’s INSECURE, the upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick, and host of The Untold Story: Policing podcast, Jay Ellis.

The very first Anthem Awards recognizes winners in seven distinct categories alongside Special Achievements that include; Naomi Osaka as Anthem Athlete of the Year, Adam McKay as Anthem Entertainer of the Year, Megan Rapinoe as the Anthem New Icon and Dr. Jane Goodall will be recognized for an Anthem Lifetime Achievement Award. The Inaugural Ceremony launched a new tradition of the Call To Action speech in which winners will share their distinct call for change.
