FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 3RD ANNUAL ANTHEM AWARDS
3rd Annual Anthem Award Finalists

Vote.org + Taylor Swift, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, World Central Kitchen & Chef José Andrés, ACLU, Project Everyone with Al Pacino, Taco Bell, Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon, IllumiNative, Patagonia, World Wildlife Fund, Elton John Aids Foundation among 3rd Annual Anthem Awards Finalists announced today.
Judged by social impact leaders, including Nike Chief Sustainability Officer Noel Kinder, Clinton Global Initiative University CEO Ragina Arrington, Etsy Director of Social Impact Strategy Dinah Jean, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts President Deborah F, Rutter, , and more.
Entries in each category are eligible to win first-ever Anthem Community Voice Awards selected by fans.
NEW YORK (December 5, 2023) – The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) today announced the finalists for the 3rd Annual Anthem Awards. Presented by The Webby Awards, the Anthem Awards were launched in 2021 to celebrate the purpose and mission-driven work of individuals, companies, and organizations worldwide. Now in its third year, the Anthem Awards are the biggest and most comprehensive social impact award in the world. Notable finalists include: Vote.org + Taylor Swift on National Voter Registration Day, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Elton John AIDS Foundation, On Purpose with Jay Shetty, The Clinton Foundation, Lil Durk and Amazon Music, American Red Cross, Megan Rapinoe and Trusaic, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Tom Hiddleston and UNICEF, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Airbnb, Al Pacino and Project Everyone, Vital Voices, Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon, GLAAD, KIND Snacks, Hacker Valley Media with Amy Bream & Simone Biles, Taco Bell, World Central Kitchen, The PepsiCo Foundation, and more.

The for-profit and nonprofit entries in each category with the greatest amount of support will win the first-ever Anthem Community Voice Awards. Following the growth in investment in sustainable products and services – The Anthem Awards saw a 30% increase in submissions to the Sustainability, Climate & Environment categories this year. The ongoing climate crisis is at the forefront of everyone’s minds from the leaders gathering at COP28 in Dubai, to major corporations, and grassroots organizations. This year’s Anthem Awards are proud to recognize environmental work from Spiritus, The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, eBay, Plastic Fisherman, World Surf League, Impossible Foods, NationSwell, World Economic Forum, The National Geographic Society, and many others.
This year also saw continued efforts to promote body autonomy for women. Twenty two states have moved to ban or restrict abortion following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “The Abortion Times”, Pro-Choice Washington, Wisp x The Abortion Freedom Fund, Reproductive Freedom for All, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, REPRO Rising Virginia, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America are Finalists this year for their work.
Studies from this year have also shown that Millenials, Generation Z, Generation Alpha are placing an increased importance on supporting businesses aligned with their values and are holding brands accountable. Liquid I.V., Patagonia, KIND Snacks, Lush Cosmetics, PepsiCo, Citi, Taco Bell, Procter & Gamble, Rare Beauty, Google, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, CeraVe, and many more are committed to making a difference.
This year’s Anthem Awards Finalists were selected from a pool of over 2,000 submissions from 44 countries by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Anthem judges are intellectually diverse leaders from across the impact industry with expertise that spans across the Anthem cause areas including; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Education, Art, & Culture; Health; Human & Civil Rights; Humanitarian Action & Services; Responsible Technology; and Sustainability, Environment, & Climate. The Anthem Awards were launched in 2021 to celebrate and highlight the incredible social impact work happening around the globe. They were founded by The Webby Awards in partnership with the Ad Council, Born This Way Foundation, Feeding America, GLAAD, Mozilla, NAACP, NRDC, WWF, and XQ.
A portion of program revenue is directed to The Anthem Fund, a grant program supporting emerging organizations working to advance the causes recognized by the Anthem Awards.
Winners for the 3rd Annual Anthem Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. This year, The Anthem Awards will be recognizing Winners at an in-person event in New York City and all Winners will be marked in history and celebrated on the Anthem Winner’s Gallery with their “Call to Action Speech”.
